Al Ittihad adds Rhodes to their roster, ex ES Rades

Al Ittihad Jeddah (SBL) added to their roster experienced 37-year old American power forward Charles Rhodes (203cm-109kg-1985, college: MSU). Rhodes played last season at ES Rades in Tunisian ProA. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The most of previous (2021) summer he spent at Cimarrones in Colombian Liga Wplay where in 18 games he recorded 9.3ppg and 6.2rpg in 2021 year. Rhodes contributed to his team making it to the Colombian LPB Clausura final. He also played for Correcaminos (San Pedro RL) in Dominican Rep. league.
In 2008 he was drafted by East Kentucky Miners (CBA) in third round (12th overall).
Rhodes graduated from Mississippi State University and it will be his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Rhodes' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. Rhodes has played previously professionally in Israel, Japan (Shiga L-Stars), Korea (Mobis Phoebus, KCC Egis, KoGas, Anyang and Suwon KT Sonicboom), Latvia, Philippines (SM Beermen), Spain, Turkey (Gaziantep and Akhisar Bld), NBA (Dallas Mavericks) and United Arab Emirates (Al Naser). He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Korean KBL All-Imports Team back in 2011 and 2012.
